The mission fair!

Last week it was the mission fair on Thursday it runs for an hour. Mission fair was to raise money for Charitas the charity group; who were donating to the Solomon islands at the moment. I had a group of Anthony, Will, Ben, Arthur and I. For the mission fair each group had to make a stall and all the money would go to Charitas and help a kid's life. We decided to do a gaming stall and you could chose to do the Wii, computer and ipad. We then got some games for the devices. We had Mario kart and skylanders for the Wii with like over 30 Skylanders. Then in a very dark room we had slender which scared a lot of kids. Then finally we Minecraft on the laptops for various people's accounts.

What went well?

Mainly the number of kids coming to our stall. Everyone loves games. So we made a lot of money for our stall. Which was awesome especially for Charitas and the Solomon islands. Another favourite moment for me in the fair was when Will, a friend of mine creeped up on a student playing slender in the dark room who didn't know he was there and placed his hands on his shoulders real fast and the kid started screaming so loud because he was scared.

What went wrong?

Basically everything I mean I had a one maybe two minute break to buy a 50 cent ice cream. The chaos was everywhere. There were laptops dying on us every five minutes. Kids came in and out every minute and their would always be someone waiting in the line. People not getting off when their time was up. Kids not paying and playing. Some it was their first time playing. Some asked me how to move to other items in their inventory, tame horses, how to light TNT, how to create a LAN world, how to do attacks on other Skylanders on the Wii, how to move your character in slender, how to use the tp cheat in Minecraft, how to use the change gamemode cheat and other things I couldn't attend to and forgot to mention.

What we could have improved on?

I think the one think the one thing we could have improved on was to have more people. Four people each shift was not enough. Especially when we had looking after the money, one looking over Minecraft, one supervising the Wii and one checking over the slender. So we were all busy doing stuff. Another thing I would do was to make a timetable so write all the names who paid a so we could see who was the next to get off and who paid.

Conclusion

In the end we made a 101 dollars and 40 cents and we had the third most raised money in the mission fair. I would like to thank the kids who gave their Minecraft accounts which we borrowed and the gaming stall wouldn't be possible with out them. Till my next post guys goodbye and thanks for reading and if you didn't read all of it read it! Bye guys here is my question.

What was your favourite part of mission fair and why?

And if your not in for our school how about you create your own mission fair to support a charity? You might make someone's life better and maybe save it. A quick thought for you guys.
Goodbye!
